Hasbro has made a commitment to support not only our dedicated men and women serving in the United States Military but also their children and families.
United Service Organization, Inc. (USO)
The USO provides programs and services to lifts the spirits of the United States troops and their families. Hasbro supports their USO2GO program which delivers packages to troops deployed to remote and restricted areas around the world. No roads lead in, so the USO2GO boxes are flown in and include Hasbro’s popular games, Nerf products and Wizards of the Coast items.
The Fisher House™
Hasbro is thrilled to partner with Fisher House to provide toys and games to families staying at a Fisher House. A Fisher House is “a home away from home” for families of soldiers who are receiving medical care at a major military and VA medical center.
Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS)
TAPS is dedicated to providing ongoing emotional support of those who are grieving the loss of a loved one in the U.S. military regardless of the relationship to the deceased or the circumstance of the death.
TAPS offers regional and national Good Grief Camps to children and teens; providing them with a safe and supportive atmosphere to conduct activities and have opportunities to learn coping skills, establish and identify support systems and create awareness that they are not alone in the grief of their loved one. Children and teens meet others of their own age group to share and learn, together. While Hasbro has assisted TAPS with toys and games for many years, this partnership has been enhanced to support the TAPS National Good Grief Camp, which provides children and teens grieving a loss with the opportunity to cope and heal in a strong, supportive environment.
Military Families - Holiday Giving (Hasbro’s Operating areas only)
Hasbro supports holiday parties for the children of soldiers who are deployed from our operating areas, which include Rhode Island, Springfield, MA, Los Angeles, CA and Renton, WA.
